My job has me traveling consistently. Don’t get me wrong, I love being able to visit new cities, but frequently, I find myself between a rock and a hard place when it comes to maintaining my nutrition on the road. I work out almost everyday, so it’s vital that I get the proper amount of protein, fats, carbs, etc. As most of you know, hotel breakfasts (especially the free ones) are often quite low on “healthy” scale.

Microwave Omelet Maker Email

The other day I received an email from a company I bought a headset adapter from, only this time, the email wasn’t for headset adapters. They’ve made a killer little product that is essentially a silicone microwave omelet maker. Now there are plenty of microwave omelet makers on the market today, but the problem is that most are made of chemically-laced plastic, which, according to numerous resources, can actually leach chemicals into your food when you put that stuff in the microwave. Silicone, on the other hand, does not. So I went ahead and ordered this bad boy and was pleasantly surprised to find that, as the name Squish suggests, it’s squishy (duh, it’s silicone). Now some people may view this as a flaw in product design, but for someone like me who travels frequently, it’s very easy to throw the microwave omelet maker into my suitcase. Since it’s silicone, it isn’t going to get crushed, which is awesome. Additionally, most hotel rooms with have a microwave, but few will have a stove. I can buy eggs anywhere, but rarely is there something in the room that I can cook them with, so this product works exceptionally well for me.

Who Should Buy a Microwave Omelet Maker?

Now, this product probably isn’t for everyone. At $14.95, I consider it a steal, based on the value that it’ll provide for me, but I can see the price for other people being somewhat of a stopping point. Consider this…you can purchase a microwave omelet maker from other places online for $5-$10, but they are going to be made out of plastic. Now, if you’re someone who’s looking after your health (which you should be), then the $5 difference should be a steal, knowing that you’re not going to get any nasty chemicals leached into your omelet. It’s certainly not the most ideal way to start off your morning. You can buy the silicone microwave omelet maker here, directly from Amazon. If you do end up purchasing it, please be sure to throw a comment below and share any recipes you’ve discovered with other readers.

Cheers.

Meet the Best Credit Card Bottle Opener on the Market, Mate

I’m all about buying new gadgets, gizmos, and doodads. I love small trinkets that are useful and also prove to be great conversation pieces. As a savage beer aficionado, I’ve been looking for a cool bottle opener that represents my passion for the nectar of the gods–good ass beer. So, like any other venture, I took to Google and started looking for the coolest bottle opener I could find. The sheer number of ugly, useless bottle openers is astounding, there are literally thousands. Eventually, I came across a nifty little product called the Bottle Mate, a credit card bottle opener that fits in your wallet. Now there are plenty of products that look like the Bottle Mate opener, but most of the credit card sized bottle openers I’ve seen are too thick and are sold blank for printing and promotional purposes. At only 1mm thick, this has to be the best credit card bottle opener on the market, hands down. Granted, the website could use a little work, but it’s still a pretty dope little product. I highly recommend this to anyone who appreciates real beer, or is simply looking for an inexpensive, cool gift for friends.

This product will not disappoint anyone. It’s solid, useful, and a great conversation starter…I cannot begin to tell you how many women I’ve wooed thanks to the Bottle Mate’s inherent ability to open a conversation. Get yourself a Bottle Mate credit card bottle opener today!

Headset Fanatics Can Now Adapt to Any Phone

Everyone goes through new phones and computers. As a human living in the westernized world, it’s inevitable. What I’ve found to be extremely frustrating is the general lack of compatibility among electronic devices. I really don’t understand why these companies cannot all just decide on ONE plug/insert/adapter, whatever.

As someone who runs a business from my computer, I rely heavily on a high-quality PC Headset I purchased quite a while ago. It isn’t necessarily the best PC Headset I’ve ever seen, but at the time is was high-end and I have a bit of an attachment to it. Much like a pair of old running shoes, its wear makes me even more fond of it.

Naturally, when I purchased a new computer, I was shocked to realize that I was not able to adapt my PC Headset to my PC. Replacing the traditionally green and pink female inputs, is a singular 3.5mm TRRS receptor, which is actually what’s available for most smart phones and iphones now.

Well, being the classic that I am, I still haven’t gotten rid of my flip phone. I like it. I don’t use a headset for my cell calls and I don’t want or need to. What I DID need was some way to adapt my PC headset to my computer. I searched through a variety of marketplaces online, mostly finding cheap adapters that were less then $0.50.

1. I’m not interested in buying an adapter that costs three cents to make.

2. I’m not interested in paying $3 shipping on a $0.50 product.

Enter the Headset Buddy

As I was about to give up, I came across TheHeadsetBuddy.com, which is the official website for The Headset Buddy, which is a headset adapter manufacturer that actually throws together a pretty nice looking adapter and sells them for around $10. They also provide a 100% guarantee on their products, so there was really no risk to me.

So I ordered mine and received it several days later and let me tell you, this little thing is absolute amazing and I’m very surprised there aren’t more companies manufacturing these at a similar level of quality, because everything else appeared to be no better than hot garbage. These products will also make great gifts for those both extremely lazy and way too into giving something greeky or creative.

Five stars for The Headset Buddy
