I’m all about buying new gadgets, gizmos, and doodads. I love small trinkets that are useful and also prove to be great conversation pieces. As a savage beer aficionado, I’ve been looking for a cool bottle opener that represents my passion for the nectar of the gods–good ass beer. So, like any other venture, I took to Google and started looking for the coolest bottle opener I could find. The sheer number of ugly, useless bottle openers is astounding, there are literally thousands. At only 1mm thick, this has to be the best credit card bottle opener on the market, hands down. Granted, the website could use a little work, but it’s still a pretty dope little product. I highly recommend this to anyone who appreciates real beer, or is simply looking for an inexpensive, cool gift for friends.

Headset Fanatics Can Now Adapt to Any Phone

Everyone goes through new phones and computers. As a human living in the westernized world, it’s inevitable. What I’ve found to be extremely frustrating is the general lack of compatibility among electronic devices. I really don’t understand why these companies cannot all just decide on ONE plug/insert/adapter, whatever.

As someone who runs a business from my computer, I rely heavily on a high-quality PC Headset I purchased quite a while ago. It isn’t necessarily the best PC Headset I’ve ever seen, but at the time is was high-end and I have a bit of an attachment to it. Much like a pair of old running shoes, its wear makes me even more fond of it.

Naturally, when I purchased a new computer, I was shocked to realize that I was not able to adapt my PC Headset to my PC. Replacing the traditionally green and pink female inputs, is a singular 3.5mm TRRS receptor, which is actually what’s available for most smart phones and iphones now.

Well, being the classic that I am, I still haven’t gotten rid of my flip phone. I like it. I don’t use a headset for my cell calls and I don’t want or need to. What I DID need was some way to adapt my PC headset to my computer. I searched through a variety of marketplaces online, mostly finding cheap adapters that were less then $0.50.

1. I’m not interested in buying an adapter that costs three cents to make.

2. I’m not interested in paying $3 shipping on a $0.50 product.

These products will also make great gifts for those both extremely lazy and way too into giving something greeky or creative.
